What we do
The mission of the CRS Italy Local Chapter is to promote fundamental and applied research in the delivery and controlled release science by:
- organizing national and international scientific meetings, workshops and think tanks;
- directly involving and financially supporting Young Scientists;
- facilitating research collaborations with academic institutions and the industry;
- collaborating with the Controlled Release Society and its Local Chapters.
Controlled Release Society
The Controlled Release Society is a non-for-profit organization incorporated in 1978 to advance the science and technology of controlling the release and delivery of active agents.
CRS members are creating the future of delivery science and technology through fundamental research, development, regulatory science, and clinical translation.
The CRS has established over 15 “local chapters“ around the World.
